Delphine Statz, age 84

October 1, 1937 – January 29, 2022

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Delphine Statz, age 84, who died Saturday at Assumption Court in Cold Spring.  Entombment will be in the parish cemetery.  A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning in the church gathering space. For those attending the services masks are required.
 
Delphine was born on October 1, 1937, in Farming Township, MN to Frank and Margaret (Kammers) Statz.  She farmed on the Statz Family Century Farm with her brother, mom and dad and worked at St. John’s University in Housekeeping.  Delphine loved going to garage sales and caring for her cats.

Survivors include one niece and 4 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph and Nicholas; sister, Dolores (Ozzie) Schmitz and nephew, Jim Schmitz.

Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN.
