Bruce John Buerman, age 58 of St. Michael, MN, passed away peacefully due to complications from cancer treatment, surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born January 2, 1963 to Clarence and Renee (Theis) Buerman in St. Cloud, MN.
Bruce grew up in Cold Spring, MN and was a 1981 graduate of ROCORI High School. He worked 30 years in IT sales. He was a member of the Country Snow Cruisers in Richmond and coached the STMA High School Trap Team. Bruce loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, camping, cutting wood, traveling, and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Bruce loved spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Radar.
On August 16, 1996, Bruce Buerman and Patti Tillmann were united in Holy Matrimony at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Osseo, MN. The two would be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.
Bruce was hardworking, creative, and great at building things. He had a big heart, always being there to help others. He had a quick wit and was sarcastic at times, and was true to the “Buerman know-it-all”. Bruce was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and humble friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all!
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lena Theis, Henry and Anna Buerman; father-in-law, Bob Tillmann; sister-in-law, Gail Buerman; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Patti; son, Neal; parents, Clarence and Renee Buerman; siblings, Jeff (Ann) Buerman, Sandee (Chuck) Lindberger, Ron (Peggy) Buerman, Brenda (Bruce) Price; mother-in-law, Kate Tillmann; siblings-in-law, Pam (Michael) Johnson, Al (Stephanie) Tillmann, Kelly Tillmann; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with parish prayers at 5:00 PM, at The Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, MN. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated to an organization in Bruce’s name.
