Thomas M. Donnay, 68 of Glen Carbon, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2020.
Tom, the son of the late Don and Mabel (Manthey) Donnay, was born on February 25, 1952 in Cold Spring, MN.

Tom was a retired Data Management Professional for TRI-COR Industries, and proudly served his country in the National Guard. Tom was also a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon. In his free time Tom enjoyed his days being outside hunting, fishing, being on the river, woodworking or watching a good football game (Go Vikings!). His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and he will be remembered for all the special times they shared.

Tom is survived, and will be missed, by his wife of 46 years Teresa (Peters) Donnay; his children, Rachel (Eric) DeWeese of Hamel, IL, Adam Donnay of Wood River, IL, Erin Donnay of Pontoon Beach, IL; grandson, Tony Donnay of Glen Carbon, IL; step-grandson, David DeWeese of Hamel, IL; sisters, Linda (Jack), Ginny, Laurie, Rhonda (Paul), Bonnie (Bill); brothers, Steve (Bonnie), Bill, Pat (Lori); sister-in-law, Patty and many other close family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Richard.

A private family visitation was be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon. In celebration of Tom’s life, private family funeral services was held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 155 N. Main Street in Glen Carbon with Fr. Patrick Gibbons officiating. Burial followed at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville. The family requests masses said for Tom in lieu of flowers.
