James “Jim” Tamble, age 63

Cold Spring
August 19, 1954 - February 6, 2018

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Jim Tamble age 63, who died Tuesday, February 6 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Burial will be in the MN State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 - 7:00 Sunday, February 11 at the Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.  Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. 

Jim was born in Cold Spring, MN to Alfred and Catherine (Ehresmann) Tamble.  He married Cindy Fuchs on May 6, 1978 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring, MN and they were blessed with two children.  Jim was a patriotic man who was proud to have served in the United States Air Force.  He worked for 27 years at Cold Spring Granite and most recently for Thermotech Windows.  Jim loved golf, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed observing wildlife and tending to his yard. Jim was a hardworking, family man who greatly appreciated the simple things in life.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Melissa (Jim) Rothstein and their children Carter and Brielle; son, Craig (Lorelei); siblings, Janice, Sandy, Jack (MaryJo), Gordy (Patty) and Barb (Scott) Bell. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Yogi Fuchs and Molly (Erv) VanHove.
