Robert “Bob” Solinger, age 84

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Robert “Bob” Solinger, age 84, who died Monday, March 5 at his home of natural causes.  Inurnment will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Richmond.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning in the church gathering space.

Bob was born in Richmond, MN to John and Eva (Lenarz) Solinger.  Bob was a Railroad Agent for Burlington Northern for over 40 years.  He was a troop leader with the Boy Scouts in Richmond for many years.  Bob enjoyed cooking, flowers, and his fish pond. 

Survivors include his son, Jeffry; brother, Pete (Marilyn); close friends, Tom and Carol Ramler; his granddaughter, Heather (Darren)Nathan and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Merl, John and Claren “Sis”.

Memorials Preferred.  Arrangement are with Wenner Funeral Home, Richmond.
