Heaven gained another angel, as Trudy Ann Nielsen, a long time resident of the Richmond, MN area passed on July 28th, 2018. She was loved by many and loved many as well. Her kindness, compassion and big heart were something to be admired. She was surrounded by loved ones.

Trudy was born in New Ulm, MN. She had a life-long commitment to educating herself in business and wellness. She met and married Ken Nielsen where they made a life in Stearns County. A life they fondly referred to as "lake life". She was a entrepreneur, and ran the Edina Realty office in Richmond, MN. Her hobbies included: wellness, chasing puppies, socializing in town, home design, and attending church. She was a force to be reckoned with in business and her fight with cancer. She courageously battled ovarian cancer for 10 years. She was a fighter who continued to live each day on her own terms despite the war with cancer going within.

Surviving Trudy is her husband, Kenneth (Ken) Nielsen; mother, Ethel Bednarski; sisters, Debbie Stearn and Connie Meyer; children, Steven Williams, Anthony Williams, Kirsten Nielsen and Kara Nielsen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3rd at River of Life Church in Cold Spring, MN at 10, with service to follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is preferred to River of Life Church, 22881 178th Ave, Cold Spring, MN 56320
