Richard “Dick” Fuchs, age 84

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville, MN for Richard “Dick” Fuchs, age 84, who died peacefully on Saturday at his home.  

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.  Visitation will continue from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the church.

Dick was born on November 27, 1934 in Farming Township, MN to Arnold and Catherine (Van Hoorik) Fuchs.  He married Lucille Schneider on May 24, 1956 in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Rockville, MN.  Dick served in the U.S. Army from 1954 – 1956.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, baseball, football, being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.  Dick was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Catholic United Financial and the Cold Spring American Legion.   
 
Survivors include his children, Bruce (Linda) Fuchs, Connie (John) Bonacci, Mary (Daniel) Streit, Jean (Ralph) Walz, Steve (Wendy) Fuchs, Kevin (Cheri) Fuchs, Pam (Harold) Walz, Kenny (Nicole) Fuchs, Victoria (Karl) Holthaus,; 32 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Howard, Fred (Joyce), Arlene (Louis) Zimmer and Kathy (Jerry) Hemmesch.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Bonacci; siblings, Donald “Yogi”, Ralph and Kenny.
