Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Patrick O’Connor age 88, who died Wednesday, November 22 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta surrounded by his loving family. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, Renville, MN.

Patrick was born in Granite Falls to Timothy Donald and Catherine (Quigley) O’Connor. He married Norma Josephine Duckstad on June 11, 1949 in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Renville, MN. Patrick worked for 45 years at Northern States Power Company Company/ Excel Energy as a dispatcher. He was a member of the IBEW Union and St. Boniface Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma, children, Barbara O’Connor Russo, Teresa (Michael) O’Connor Oie, Michael (Judi) O’- Connor, James (LouAnn) O’Connor; sister, Mary Catherine Bean; eight grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Timothy, William, John, and Thomas O’Connor.

Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House, 5537 Galaxy Road, St. Augusta, MN 56301.
