Patricia Ann Fazio was born on March 17, 1939 to Eugene and Alma (Neis) Kammermeier and grew up in Cold Spring as the second born of seven children.  She graduated from St. Boniface High School in 1957.

Pat Fazio and Louis Hennen were married on June 11, 1957. They raised six wonderful children while living on a dairy farm near Rockville.  They later divorced, and on August 17, 1991, Pat married Anthony “Tony” Fazio. They enjoyed traveling together while cross-country semi-trailer truck driving.

Her work career included the dedicated mothering of six children while working the family farm, her compassionate work with adults with disabilities, the professional running of her own cleaning business, and her adventurous semi-trailer truck driving.  Among her employers were Cold Spring D.A.Cu., Cold Spring Elementary, First National Bank of Cold Spring, St. Cloud Hospital, WACOSA, and Mains’l Services.

She was a talented homemaker, decorator and flower gardener with zeal for creative hobbies such as stained glass and ceramics.  In her earlier years, she was a member of the St. Boniface church choir, bell choir, Christian Women, and taught religion classes.  She loved to entertain with fancy meals and to decorate elaborately for holidays.  Recently, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed their many outings.  Flower gardening and antique shopping were always two of her favorite activities.

Patricia is survived by her first husband, Louis Hennen.  She was the loving mother to Char (Mark) Birkedal of Nora Springs IA, Tom (Lisa) Hennen of New Munich, Sandy (Jim) Svihel of Cold Spring, Kevin (Tracey) Hennen of Cold Spring, Lori (Damien) Ihrig of Iowa City, and Kerry Youso of St. Cloud.  She was the proud grandmother to Brian (Kristina) Birkedal, Scott Birkedal, Eric Birkedal, Stacy Hennen, Melissa Wolbek, Derek Svihel, Kyle and Karlie Hennen, Oscar and August Ihrig, Avery, Alex and Ben Youso.  She was the delighted great-grandmother to Elena and JoAnna Birkedal, Megan and Emma Becker, and Landon and Abigail Wolbeck.  She was the beloved sister to, Irene South, Evyonne (Ken) Kiekow, Linda Bragg, and sister-in-law to Kristal Bauer.  She was an aunt, great-aunt, and loyal friend to many.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, second husband; Anthony Fazio, sisters; Rosemary Thacker, and Sheran South, and brother; Eugene “Butch” Kammermeier.

For the many hearts you have touched, we are eternally grateful.
