January 28, 1959 \u2013 September 14, 2026<\/p>\n

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring, MN for Angela \u201cAngie\u201d Schlangen, age 67, who died Monday, September 14th at Sterling Park, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.<\/p>\n

A visitation will be Friday from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. in the St. Boniface Church Narthex.<\/p>\n

Angie was born in Aberdeen, SD to Jack and Hildegard (Schramel) Benda. She married Virgil Schlangen October 11, 1997, in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville, MN.<\/p>\n

Angie worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was a loving mom who enjoyed her pets, decorating, movies and especially being a grandma.<\/p>\n

Angie is survived by her husband, Virgil; daughter, Jessica (David) Kollar; grandson, Atlas; mother, Hildegard Benda; siblings, Greg (Linda) Benda, Mike (Joan) Benda, Brian (Jane) Benda, Stan (Ann) Benda, Jeff (Jill) Benda; many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack and brother, Doug Benda.<\/p>\n
