Owner Malissa Mauricio started this business after many years in the corporate world. When asked how she came up with the name Glimmer, Malissa stated \u201cA Glimmer in positive psychology is defined as a small moment that improves mental well-being; the opposite of a trigger.\u201d At Glimmer, they do that through humor or positive reinforcement, and they focus on these types of items in the store.
