The Cold Spring Area Chamber Ambassadors recently visited Cozy’s Lakeside Bar & Grill, a one-of-a-kind destination located right on the water within Cozy Corners Campground.
Co-owned by Austin and Vienna Meyers, Cozy’s has become a go-to spot for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy great food, fun events, and a true lakeside experience. While Austin has been managing the bar for the past eight years, he and Vienna officially took over ownership of the bar and restaurant in 2022. Looking ahead, the couple plans to take over ownership of Cozy Corners Campground in 2027, continuing a family legacy that began when Austin’s parents purchased the campground 24 years ago.
The bar and restaurant is open to the public and offers a unique setting inside the campground, which features 252 seasonal sites. Guests can arrive by land or lake, with 12 public docks available, making Cozy’s one of just two restaurants accessible on the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes.
Cozy’s is currently open Thursday through Sunday, with plans to expand to Wednesdays after Memorial Day. Their season runs from April 17th to October 16th for 2026. In addition to their menu offerings, they host a wide variety of weekly activities, including:
Bingo
Horse races
Meat raffles
Broasted chicken nights
Daily food specials
