This newspaper is delivered through second class mail – it’s the only way to keep mailing costs affordable, but it means delivery can be a little slow in the out-state areas, like Florida. Most of the time, I receive the paper about a week late, sometimes more.
I received the November 11th issue on November 20th, and I read with interest that Lisa Demuth is planning to make a bid for the Republican Party’s endorsement as a candidate for Governor of Minnesota.
If I were a Minnesota resident, I would campaign my heart out to help promote her efforts.
I spent several years sitting next to, or across from, Lisa as a school board member. She and I worked together on committees, and while we didn’t always agree on every decision, I can tell you that Lisa was always an extremely good listener and always put in the effort required to make the best choices. Her dedication to her position was (and always will be) unparalleled.
From what I’ve seen and read, Minnesota is at a crossroads. There have been too many years of a disconnected government, and something has to change before the state falls so low that it won’t recover. I’m sure others will agree that Minnesota’s current Governor isn’t doing a good job leading the state. It’s time for a change.
As a Minnesotan at heart, I would be proud to cast my ballot in favor of Lisa Demuth as the next Minnesota Governor. I tell you with no hesitation that Lisa will work extremely hard to get what has to be done to turn things around in Minnesota.
As a former Minnesota resident, a former editor of this newspaper, and a former school board member, I wholeheartedly endorse Lisa Demuth to be Minnesota’s next Governor.
Godspeed to you, Lisa! I know you won’t rest until the job is done.
Have A Good Week
