Benedictine Living Community – Cold Spring, 715 1st Street N., achieved a zero-deficiency score in its most recent annual survey by the Minnesota Department of Health.
“This accomplishment underscores our unwavering commitment to providing the highest-quality care to our residents,” said Anne Major, Executive Director, Benedictine Cold Spring. “I’m incredibly proud of our skilled nursing team. Their dedication creates a safe, supportive, and vibrant environment where residents can thrive.”
Quality and safety are critical when choosing a senior care community. Families seek assurance that their loved ones will receive exceptional care in a supportive environment. A zero-deficiency survey score from the Minnesota Department of Health serves as a key indicator of excellence.
A zero deficiencies rating shows that a senior community has met or exceeded all health and safety regulations during the Minnesota Department of Health’s comprehensive annual survey. This evaluation, conducted in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, examines resident care, staff qualifications, safety measures and facility conditions.
During the unannounced survey, inspectors observe daily operations, review medical records, interview residents and staff, and assess the physical environment. Achieving a zero deficiencies score reflects meticulous attention to detail, adherence to high standards and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
A zero deficiencies rating is also an assurance of quality care and underscores compliance with state health and safety regulations, offering peace of mind to residents and their families.
