Joseph Francis Dvorak was born on August 12, 1948, in Jackson Minnesota the son of Lawrence and Vivianna (Hartneck) Dvorak of Lakefield. He was one of eight children to the Dvorak’s. The family later moved to Cold Spring MN, where he attended Rocori High School. After high school, Joe became a police officer, dedicating the next twelve years of his life to protecting and serving the city of Cold Spring. After working for the city, he decided to switch careers and became a truck driver. This took his free spirit to the open road. He later worked for a machining business and bird seed company. Joe had been married, the marriage later dissolved, he was blessed with three children from this marriage.
On September 28, 1990, Joe married Mary Blinker. Their union was blessed with one child, a daughter Jenna. With the birth of Jenna, Joe was given a second chance at fatherhood. She was the apple of his eye and the two had a very special bond. When Joe was not busy working or providing for his family, he would spend his down time hunting or fishing, enjoying the peace of nature.
On May 4, 2024, Joe took his last breath here on earth. He leaves behind his wife, Mary; daughter, Jenna; three children from a previous marriage; siblings, Maryann (Don) Short; John Dvorak, Susan (Steve) Dvorak, Nancy (Paul) Rosenberger, Marty (Denise) Dvorak. He was precededin death by his parents, Lawrence and Vivianna Dvorak; and siblings, Tom Dvorak and Katherine Dvorak.
