The Cold Spring Area Chamber Ambassadors had the opportunity to welcome Lifestyle Lumber in St. Martin as a member of the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce. We met with the new owner, Derek Mueller.
In 2012, Mueller started in sales and estimating at Lifestyle Lumber after working in the construction business for several years. Lifestyle Lumber has been at its current location in St. Martin since 2005 and was previously owned by Ralph Leither and Randy Heyne. Mueller just purchased the business in January 2024. Lifestyle Lumber currently employs 10 experienced team members.
Lifestyle Lumber is a very well established successful business and Mueller wants to continue to elevate the business. They recently updated their showroom, working on updating internal systems, and continuing to improve customer service. Lifestyle Lumber works directly with individual customers and contractors.
When asked about building trends, Mueller said customers still seek out maintenance-free products and they are seeing more remodeling than in previous years, likely due to higher cost of new builds. Most product availability is back to normal and readily available.
