On Wednesday, February 7th, ROCORI High School hosted the 8AA Section Vocal Solo/Ensemble contest. The ROCORI varsity choir had 24 entries involving 25 students. It was a very successful day as the choir received 17 Superior ratings and 7 Excellent ratings. It was an exciting day, with some students participating for the first time even taking a big step to perform a solo for the first time, and others receiving their very first Superior rating. A trio comprised of Grace Kuebelbeck, Grace Lindell and Greta Wesenberg received a perfect score (40) and the “Best of Site” award for singing “My Boyfriend’s Back”. The ROCORI Choral program is under the direction of Mrs. Kim Morford and accompanied by Mrs. Julene Faber-Andrusick. Congratulations to all participants for a strong performance from ROCORI!
