The Home Pride Lions Blood drive was successful, collecting 98 units of blood at our drive on October 5th at St. Boniface Parish Center, coming close to our goal of 102 units. We also collected 18 units from Power Red donors. We would like to thank all who donated to this worthy cause. The need for blood is high – every day people need blood to live.
The Home Pride Lions would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the two RN students from Central Lakes College who helped at the drive, the St. Boniface Parish staff, the American Red Cross team, and the Home Pride Lions who volunteered their time.
Thank you to our co-chairs Lions Rita Hennen and Carol Steil.
Many people signed up for our next drive which will be January 25, 2027 at St. Boniface. Go to redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS to register for this drive. We look forward to seeing you there!
