The Cold Spring Home Pride Lions Club gathered at the DEF building on December 2nd to pack 80 ROCORI Action Packs, reinforcing the club’s ongoing commitment to addressing hunger—one of Lions Clubs International’s global causes. ROCORI Action Packs provide weekend meal support to students in the ROCORI School District.
Home Pride Lions members volunteered their time to assemble the packs and also contribute financially to help cover the cost of the food included. In addition to this project, the club regularly donates to the ROCORI Area Food Shelf as part of its mission to ensure local families have access to nutritious food. “Our members are dedicated to serving our neighbors,” said Lion Sherri of the Cold Spring Home Pride Lions. “Supporting hunger relief is a core part of who we are as Lions, and we’re proud to support ROCORI students and families in meaningful ways.” The club will continue its hunger-relief efforts at their upcoming Spaghetti Dinner on January 5, 2026 where attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the ROCORI Area Food Shelf. Community members are invited to join in the event, support the cause, and learn more about how Lions serve the ROCORI community.
