Members of the Cold Spring Legion Post 455 Color and Honor Guard saluted the kickoff of Gold Meadows Hunting Preserve fourth annual Veterans October pheasant hunt. The hunt located just northwest of Cold Spring is open expense free to all military active and inactive veterans. This year’s hunt hosted 88 veterans and provided them with guides, ammunition, door prizes and dinner, plus dressed pheasants to take home with them.
