September 9, 1938 – August 27, 2025
Willis “Will” Munson was born September 9, 1938, and died August 27, 2025, in his sleep at his home. His heart worked hard after a valve replacement surgery in 2017, but on that day it rested.
Will is survived by his wife Lynn of 61years; son, Brent and his family; sister, Carolyn Westberg and her family and his deceased brother, Don’s family.
Will’s life’s work was in biology and water quality. First for the EPA and later for the MPCA; with units working on Minnesota’s rivers and lakes. Will’s wishes were that he be cremated and have no services. His wishes have been honored.
Will loved God’s word and was grateful for the good life he had on this earth.
