Rockville-Cold Spring-Richmond, Minn. – After eight years of dedicating her time, talent and treasure to the ROCORI Area Community Foundation, Jan Dingmann is officially retiring from her position on the RACF Board of Directors.

Jan is a native of Richmond and graduated from ROCORI High School. She and her husband George raised their three sons in Cold Spring. Professionally, Jan has worked in the banking and real-estate industries; she now works for Stearns County Human Services as a Child Support Officer. Aside from her service on the RACF Board, she served as a Cold Spring City Council member for eight years. Jan says she values the ROCORI area and the many opportunities it offers.

“My involvement with the community foundation was one of the ways that I could help provide resources for the non-profits in ROCORI to be used to make this area, my home, an even better place to live, work and grow. Although I’m no longer a board member, I’ll continue to strongly support this amazing group of new and continuing board members of the ROCORI Area Community Foundation.” -Jan Dingmann

Jan served as the Board’s secretary and volunteered to help plan RACF’s annual Concert for a Cause event. Don Burge is the current RACF Board Chair, he says Jan is compassionate about her community.

“Jan possesses the go-getter attitude that is vital to all volunteer boards. The ROCORI Area Community Foundation appreciates the hard work and leadership that Jan has demonstrated over the past eight years. We share our deepest gratitude to Jan for everything she has done to improve the ROCORI communities. Thank you for your service.” -Don Burge, RACF Board Chair
