All are invited to the next History Series event on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the ROCORI DEF Building. This is a free event, and will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Cold Spring Area Historical Society and the Cold Spring Friends of the Library.
Our speaker will be Arn Kind, who has presented at several of our other Speaker Events, including the story of Prohibition and the Northfield Bank Robbery. He is a very entertaining speaker, and will appear in an authentic WWII uniform. Arn will tell the story of the MN sailors who served on the USS Ward, which was instrumental in the days leading up to the Pearl Harbor bombings on December 7, 1941 which pulled the US into WWII.
This is a FREE EVENT – all are welcome! Refreshments will be served, compliments of the Friends of the Library and the CSAHS. We hope you can attend!! NOTE: This event will not be recorded.
