Aurelia Vigil, age 93

July 10, 1923 – April 17, 2017

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Aurelia Vigil, age 93, who died Monday at her home in Cold Spring.  Burial will be in the MN State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church gathering space.  Arrangements are with the Wenner Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.

Aurelia was born in Sedgwick, CO to John and Epimenia (Macarenas) Aguiniga.  She married Cornelio Vigil in 1955.  Aurelia was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, embroidery, and watching baseball.

Survivors include her children, Art (Tracey Bluemke) Vigil and Chris Vigil; grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Courtney, Connor, Brooke, and Troy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelio; daughter-in-law, Arlene Vigil.
