Sun., Nov. 26 – Cold Spring Area Maennerchor All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast. St. Boniface Parish Center, Cold Spring, 8:30 – 12:30 p.m. Advance tickets from any Maennerchor member or online - $7 per person. Tickets are $8 at the door on November 26th. Children 8 & under eat for free.

Fri. & Sat., Dec. 1 & 2 – "Christmas in Comfort," a Christmas drama directed by Vicki Meyer, will be presented on December 1st and 2nd, at 7:00 p.m., and December 3rd at 2:00 p.m., at River of Life Assembly of God, 22881-178th Ave, Cold Spring. "Christmas in Comfort" is written by Faye Couch Reeves. There is no cost to attend the performance, but a free-will offering will be taken. Sun., Dec. 3 – Euchre Party in Basement of St. James Church of Jacobs Prairie at 7:00 p.m. Lunch will be served. Door prizes given. Any cancellations will be announced on KASM and WJON radio stations.

Fri., Dec. 8 – History Series Speaker at the ROCORI DEF Bldg - 527 Main Street, Cold Spring. 9:30 a.m. Speaker: Ray Tuholsky will speak about his book "All Fishermen are Liars, Except You and Me, and Sometimes I wonder about You" This free event is hosted by the COLD SPRING AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY. Refreshments served.

Sat., Dec. 9 – Koronis Nite Owls, Paynesville, will have their Christmas Square Dance with Larry Johansen calling. Mainstream dancing will be from 7:30 to 10:00 at the Paynesville Elementary School. There will be a potluck lunch following the dance.

Mondays, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11 – The Fare for All's distribution takes place once a month from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, St. Joseph. There are also Satellite sites that distribute in Holdingford, Albany, Melrose, and soon Cold Spring. Fare for All sells packages of fresh fruits and vegetables and frozen meats for up to 40% off of grocery store prices. All are Welcome. No need to register in advance. Third Monday of each month – The Saint Cloud Area Parkinson's Disease (PD) Support Group meets from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the St. Cloud Library. There is no cost to attend, and the meetings are open to those diagnosed with PD, their families, caregivers, and the general public. Second Tuesday of Each Month – Free Blood Pressure Clinic provided by the Assumption Community from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the John Paul Apartments Dining Room.

Second & Fourth Tuesday of Each Month – St. Cloud Support Group for Families. NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) sponsors free support groups for families and friends of individuals living with a mental illness. Led by trained facilitators who also have a family member with mental illness, the support groups help families develop better coping skills and find strength through sharing their experiences. A family support group meets in St. Cloud at 7:00-8:30 p.m., on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, at Calvary Community Church, 1200 Roosevelt Road. For information, call Mike at 320-259-7101.

River Lakes Arena – Open Public Skating, Sundays 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Open Public Adult Hockey, Sundays 8:15 to 9:45 p.m. Both events are consistent all the way through March 4th, 2018. American Legion members meetings are held at the Cold Spring American Legion on the second Thursday of each month. A good will offering snack at 6:00 p.m. Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. sharp. A cash drawing and refreshments follow the meeting. Members are encouraged to attend.
